Occupational Health Nurse

Occupational Health Nurse

Location: Multi-site (Acton, Euston & West Ruislip)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours (Full-Time)

Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Travel Card included

Are you an experienced Nurse looking to pivot your clinical expertise into a proactive, preventative environment? We are representing a leading healthcare provider seeking a compassionate Occupational Health Nurse to join their dedicated team in London.

This is a rare opportunity to step away from the traditional ward setting while still utilising your high-level clinical assessment skills to keep a workforce healthy, safe, and supported.

The Role:

As an Occupational Health Nurse, you won’t just be responding to illness—you’ll be a champion for wellbeing. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Clinical Excellence: Managing minor injuries and illnesses and conducting safety-critical medicals.

  • Proactive Health: Delivering health surveillance, wellbeing assessments, and educational initiatives.

  • Specialised Testing: Carrying out drug and alcohol testing and evaluating "fitness to work" for specific roles.

  • Advisory: Providing professional guidance and support to clients, ensuring they receive a gold-standard clinical service.

What’s in it for you?

Our client believes in rewarding the people who keep others healthy. On top of a competitive salary, you will receive:

  • Work-Life Balance: Standard Monday to Friday hours (no nights or weekends!).

  • Seamless Commuting: A provided travel card for your travel across London sites.

  • Financial Security: Up to 6% contributory pension and life assurance.

  • Personal Perks: 25 days holiday (increasing with service) + your birthday off!

  • Healthcare Support: Health cashback plan and your NMC fees fully paid.

Who We Are Looking For

You don’t necessarily need a background in Occupational Health to excel here; we value clinical "sharpness" and the right attitude above all else.

  • Registration: You must be a Registered Nurse (Part 1) with an active NMC PIN.

  • Experience: A background in A&E or Intensive Care would suit, due to the clinical assessment skills required.

  • Skills: You are organised, tech-savvy (Excel/Outlook), and comfortable prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Mindset: You are curious, eager to learn, and a genuine team player who enjoys a challenge.
